Room 8 Poetry (is Incredible)

Here's the 'Best of' :

Raj:

Native kiwis.
Endless  memories  stay  with you  when you visit our land.
We never give up.
Zzooming past other countries, showing them our pride.
Enter our country with excitement.
Always give 100%.
Lliving life at our fullest.
Aachieving our highest goals.
Naming landmarks with our achievements.
Dreams come true here.

Lucy Liar

Lucy liar lies lots
Lovely lies like loving lollies

Large lies luminous ladybirds

Luscious lies like loopy lovebirds
Lousy lies like leaping lavatories
Lucy liar lies lots

A shiver of fear
Looking for a sign of life
To find the sunshine

Happiness
Happiness is bright and colourful.
It’s like dipping strawberries in the river.
It’s like a couple in the park.
It’s like Birds chirping and Cows mooing.
Happiness lightens up the world!®

Todd went to the shops
But he left his ride outside
Nek minnit, it’s gone.

Millie:

the lonely tree

the tree danced alone in the breeze
nothing could disturb him he was at ease
as autumn crept up on him and his children began to fall
his heart shrivled up into a tiny ball
and all through winter he danced alone in the freeze

Aliya

I looked a bit to the East
Then a bit to the West
I turned around and there it was
my one and only nest.

I cannot get to sleep  tonight
I toss and turn and flop
I try to think of fluffy sheep
Over a fence they hop
I try  to think of pleasant dreams
Like Mcdonalds
thinking of it makes me druel
I don't know why I cannot sleep
I sleep just fine at school.

Makirai

Lions are the kings of the jungle....
Sharks are monsters of the sea...
If they had to fight & one of them took it out
then which one would it be?

Jocelyn

 Blind
Being blind,
Everything is hard to find,
Without a soul you can see,
Or a love you cannot love,
Imagine your confused,
Useless and afraid
Would you survive?

What’s in the sky?
What’s in the sky?
Some tooting cars
What’s in the sky?
Some monkey bars
What’s in the sky?
Some fluffy bunnies
What’s in the sky?
Some retro sunnies
What’s in the sky?
Some tomato seeds
What’s in the sky?
A string of beads
What’s in the sky?
A colouring pen
What’s in the sky?
A yeti’s den
What’s in the sky?
Some swimming pools
What’s in the sky?
A box of tools
What’s in the sky?
A work of art
What’s in the sky?
A flying dart!

A Lady of Gardens

I know a lady of gardens
Who gets her plants from bargains
She loves having pets around
When they arrive they're hard to be found
There are so many plants she forgets & they begin to harden!
