In rich task at the moment we are researching an Olympic nation. Finding out about some of the important things that make up the life of people in these countries and how they help their athletes. The emphasis is on visual images in the presentation. Here we are at work:

This was a parade at night in Jaipur, ten men were carrying huge lamps  on their shoulders.  I don't think they liked it, but everyone else was having fun.

Nameste Room 8!

I am into my 6th day in India. It feels like I have been away for twice as long! So far I have been to Delhi (population 16 million) and Jaipur (3 million). I am typing this from an internet cafe in Ranthambore, I went tiger spotting this morning, unfortunately I didn't see any tigers. but I did see antelope and monkeys.

Here are some photos of my trip so far. It is a completely different country to NZ, it has made me realise how lucky some of us are. Many people in India live in very very poor conditions.
