Waterwise!
Here is some pics from our awesome first day at Waterwise: Post your comments below and let us know how awesome it was!
Water-wise was sooooo fun! I absolutely LOVED the stand up paddle boarding, me and Rishab had a war where we kept pushing each other off our boards. I was paddling around and when I was close enough to someone I would jump from my board to their board and rugby tackle them into the water-Ha ha!
Kayaking was probably my second favorite activity. It was so funny when we were playing the game when we had to hit Jesse's boat 2 times, and on the second time we hit him he capsized! Ha ha ha!!
The wind surfing was also really cool although quite hard to get the hang of. At one point me and Sarah had to try and manage one board with BOTH of us on it! I fell into the water sooo much and when Sarah was having a turn on her own I didn't have anything to do so I hopped in the water and went for a little swim, and the water was surprisingly warm!
Sarah and I had a really bad experience with the sailing. At first it was O.K , but then our boat started tipping, and it would not stop! At one point Sarah's half of the boat went completely UNDERNEATH the surface of the water! It was so scary!
All in all in think Water-wise was so great and really, really fun. I learnt lots of very valuable water safety skills and I think that they will help me later on in life.
Little Shop Of Horrors: I think it was amazing and not what I expected. Lots of schools were there so it was squished but still worth it.At the start this alien ship was shooting green lasers at every one and there was a song. (LOTS OF SONGS). It was funny when the plant stared singing. At the interval every one was swarming out of the stage so when I went with them i got lost. At the end we got to ask questions.
WATERWISE My favorite activity was definitely windsurfing even though it was cold ,windy and WILD. As soon as you find 'BOB' and pull the sail up a Huge gust of wind would blow you over again and again but once i was up for about 5 minutes when the wind completly stop and ripples in the water would sweep you towards the bridge.
